It is no secret that Sephora  is the go to place for gifts, from makeup, fragrance to hair and skin care, there is an opportunity to find a gift for just about anyone. In addition to birthdays, this holiday season I’ve got a long list of people in my life who deserve a little thank you. This is not to say you have to open up your wallet or spend big for the holiday but if you are able to, here are some tips for your Sephora holiday shopping and two items worth checking out.

  1. Don’t buy something they need, buy something they want

I find that people often spend money on things they need, so the holidays are the perfect time to gift them something they’ve wanted but have been reluctant to splurge on themselves, like the Daisy Eau de Toilette Gift Set by Marc Jacobs. This fragrance has a floral scent and comes in a whimsical bottle making it even more perfect for gift giving. The box set also comes with a rollerball size.

2. Something unexpected

Gift something unexpected like the NEST Festive Votive Trio set– I didn’t know Sephora carried these and I’ve been loving my trio set and have been bringing it to the dinner table and even the bathroom. It features 3 candles: Spiced Orange & Clove and classic scents, Holiday and Birchwood Pine.

3. A gift for two

It’s not being cheap nor lazy, in fact, it’s very thoughtful to buy a gift for two. The NEST Festive Votive Trio set is great for a couple while the Daisy Eau de Toilette Gift Set by Marc Jacobs could be ideal for mother and daughter or anyone who likes fruity-floral scents. I gifted a set to a friend and she gave the roll on size to her 11yr old daughter. How cute!!

   4. No gift wrap.

These boxes are beautiful and don’t require gift wrapping. You can opt for simply sticking a  bow on the box, but if you must, you can use newspaper to neatly wrap your gift and add real flowers on top, this is not only environmentally friendly but it also gives it a vintage look.
