Today I turn 26! When I was younger I used  to get excited about my birthday. 3 years ago after having the absolute worst birthday, I promised myself that every single birthday  would be special. In 2013 I was in Thailand and spent my birthday at a spa. I had a thai massage, walked through one of the many amazing night markets in Chang Mai, Thailand. There was nothing special about the day, just being happy was enough. Last year, I spent my birthday with some close friends in Brooklyn doing what I enjoy best Brunching.  I invited  friends from college and other friends I hadn’t seen in years. Last year, I realized that the one thing that’s better than happiness is being able to share it with close friends.

Today  I turn 26! Just 10 years ago I had an expiration date but today I celebrate yet another year and for that I am grateful.

Today I turn 26! If I’ve made one person smile or touched one soul, those years that I’ve gained have been worth it.
